Abstract:
Re-injecting biogas (biomethane) into the gas network requires to follow the conditions described in four decrees followed by four orders in application of the Grenelle 2 law of November 2011. This fact sheet sets out the conditions to be met, focusing on the following points: – regulations governing contracts between producers and suppliers, and the nature of inputs, guarantees of origin for injected biomethane, and full compensation for extra costs incurred by suppliers; – technical conditions for injecting biogas into the gas network.
