The recovery of biomass or waste makes it possible to produce :

  •  biogas by the anaerobic digestion process and electricity with a turbine or a gas engine (cogeneration),

  • hydrogen from the products obtained as a result of anaerobic digestion (CH4, CO2). The hydrogen produced can be used in a fuel cell power plant to generate electricity and heat.
